The winter melons (left of the lady in red) are also hugely oversized. Made into soup in long flat slices. Mellow taste and texture: cross between watermelon, hicama, and yellow squash.
i actually meant the ones on the right, above the leeks. but those melons are huge too! having a hard time imagining them in soups but i’m sure they sound delicious…
are those daikon radishes?!?! good lord they’re huge!
